Fun facts:
• We were fairly evenly split regarding the ending:
—About 1/3 thought T-Ray was telling the truth;
—About 1/3 thought T-Ray was lying;
—About 1/3 thought it was left intentionally ambiguous.

• Vanilla cola and unsalted peanuts is a tasty treat but may not be as tasty as regular Coke and salted peanuts.

How quaint is this?

For those of you who are wondering, this site will be regularly updated blog of book reviews from the First Monday Reading Group. We started in September of 2003 with about 10 women, and we're still reading, although the faces have changed over the years.

The Secret Life of Bees was our first book. We've read more than forty since then.

Check in regularly to read the opinions one group of women and the books we have picked or panned.

It should be interesting…or [hopefully] at least a little entertaining....

Angie, how great to find your reading blog.
Amazingly, I have read "The Secret life of Bees".
A friend and I read the same non-intellectual
christian romance novels and discuss them as
we trade back and forth. (there are few surprises
in the plots). Susan and I used to read Oprah's re-
commended books.
Keep up the good work.
